AI with ERP, BTP and BDC

The mathematician Ada Lovelace is also considered the first female programmer. It may be a romantic view from a computer science perspective, but it is worth questioning what has fundamentally changed in recent years: Nvidia's graphics processing units (GPUs) have taken over. AI for and with ERP, SAP BTP and BDC is therefore under scrutiny.

October 9, 2025

SAP overlicensing

October 2, 2025
What to do with SAP licenses that are no longer needed and only generate maintenance fees? If company shares are sold or staff have to be laid off, there may often be too many licenses downstream. However, unused licenses cause high support costs and maintenance fees.
SAP left the path of righteousness many years ago. It began with the hybridization of its database. Added value? Unknown. Users Are Different

The SAP community is increasingly diverging from SAP's plans. There is a wide gap between the global ERP market leader's dreams and reality.
Ten years ago, SAP presented S/4 as a new beginning for the digital backbone of the economy. Real-time, simplified data models, cloud focus. Much was achieved. In the meantime, it is less a question of "if" and more a question of "how".
