SAP and the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team Announce Their Partnership
S/4 Hana Cloud, Private Edition, is the technological foundation that will enable the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team to use artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud solutions from SAP to make informed decisions and predictions, optimize resources and future-proof its IT infrastructure.
Efficiency is the linchpin of success in Formula 1, which is why compliance with the cost cap and the optimization of the complex supply chain of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team are two focal points of the partnership. The cost cap in Formula 1 stipulates exactly how much the teams can spend per season. Strict penalties are imposed if this limit is exceeded.
