S/4 Momentum

More than five years later, approximately 15,100 SAP customers have purchased an S/4 Hana license, but of those, only 8100 customers have a running and productive S/4 system. This "momentum" of five years for a pending ERP version change is worrisome. What is SAP doing wrong? What would SAP have to improve?
Technically and organizationally, SAP CEO Christian Klein and his colleagues on the Executive Board have done almost everything right. Transformation processes take time, but SAP is on the right track thanks to Christian Klein. What's missing? SAP's Supervisory Board, Executive Board and partner community have overlooked one thing: Do good and talk about it!
There are many proofs of concept in the SAP community, but little trust. The DSAG survey showed that many existing SAP customers are moving toward Hana and S/4, but SAP refuses to provide answers regarding transformation and to take confidence-building measures: What is the future after 2025 with AnyDB in the direction of Hana and later on S/4?
The answer to this question was announced by SAP CEO Jürgen Müller at the DSAG Technology Days at the beginning of this year. To date, there are no SAP answers - the momentum is losing steam.
