Awards in Supply Chain Management: IFM presents SCM Awards
This year's Success Days once again brought together experts from various areas of supply chain management. The event included presentations and the presentation of the SCM Awards. Variosystems was honored in the "Best Expansion Idea" category. As part of a development partnership, Variosystems came up with the idea of integrating films, videos and documentation into the Process Explorer in addition to the tasks and creating a link to the DMS.
Fuchs received an award in the "Fastest and furthest implementation" category. The company introduced the forecasting solution at its branch in Johannesburg, South Africa, in just six months. The solution is now to be rolled out as standard in the Fuchs Group.
Rotkäppchen-Mumm won the award in the "Best Optimization Project" category. With the Controlling and Operations solutions, the company was able to reduce out-of-stock situations to a minimum and at the same time achieve an inventory reduction of 35 million euros in the past seven months.
