(GERMAN) Optimise supply chain processes with transparency

Case study Reichle & De-Massari: For manufacturers of connectivity solutions who produce in different production sides around the world, transparency is indispensable. Only with the necessary overview of the respective planning situations it is possible to ideally coordinate supply chain processes and make decisions more quickly. For this reason R&M, developer and supplier of high-quality infrastructure solutions for data and communication networks, relies on the SAP-based supply chain software from ifm.

(GERMAN) Automation instead of over-maintenance

Case study ifm electronic: For the production of IO-Link sensors for Industry 4.0, the supplier of innovative automation and digitalization solutions relies on placement machines from FUJI EUROPE CORPORATION GmbH. The FUJI machines form the basis for the condition-based maintenance of the placement heads introduced at ifm. This was implemented with the help of Shop Floor Integration (SFI). By using the software solution, more efficient and plannable maintenance and servicing can be carried out. In this way, downtimes and set-up times are minimized.

(GERMAN) Efficiency through role-based work processes

Case study KARL MAYER: By using ifm's GIB software, the textile machine manufacturer has succeeded in improving its daily business enormously. The creation of uniform standards in scheduling has made a significant contribution to increasing transparency throughout the group. In addition, inventory planning has been optimized - especially with regard to missing parts, which can now be identified at an early stage or avoided with foresight.

(GERMAN) Coping with rising material numbers without increasing personnel

Case study CLAAS: In order to be able to react agilely to the increasingly complex market conditions with solid supply chain processes, the internationally active agricultural machinery manufacturer relies on ifm's controlling and operations software. This supports the triggering of demand and inventory-optimized orders. In addition, it ensures transparency across all plants, which enables ideal control of the entire company. Any material bottlenecks can thus be identified in good time and countermeasures can be initiated at an early stage. The software also ensures that the increasingly complex material requirements planning can still be handled by the existing team.
