Future of work already a reality

The annual "State of Contingent Workforce Management" study by Ardent Partners and Fieldglass looks at the further development of temporary staffing.
The report states that 95 percent of companies see temporary staffing as crucial to the success and growth of the company and almost 70 percent expect it to grow.
Despite this, only 51 percent of temporary staffing is formally included in planning, budgeting and forecasting. Vendor management systems (VMS) are crucial for the management of temporary staffing. Companies optimized programs with four basic characteristics: They use data for real-time insights into the workforce.
They are very good at core competencies such as standardizing day-to-day operations; using technology for strict compliance; and having a comprehensive picture and process for managing all employees in terms of talent.
