SAP Solution: Cloud

SAP license management, once already a domain of complex rules and opaque metrics, has developed into an even denser jungle over the past three years, with many existing customers finding it difficult to keep track of the pathways. SAP's cloud strategy and the implementation of Full Use Equivalent as a new license model are at the heart of this development.

SAP has been using the term "Cloud ERP Suite" for several months and SAP customers have been puzzling over what it means. Now, SAP CEO Christian Klein has shed some light on the matter: the transition from private to public cloud should occur, and it should be successful!
The digital transformation not only demands new technologies from companies, but also an intelligent combination of flexibility, security and performance - especially in the SAP environment.
SAP's clean core strategy reduces maintenance costs and improves system stability. Companies need to check which adaptations are necessary and which can be replaced by standards. SAP BTP enables flexible extensions and future-proof integrations.
An S/4 conversion is more than just a technical release change. An SAP customer should only embark on this road with an experienced team. It is thus important to bring together the people involved, SAP partners and consultants, to form a team right from the start.
