Support reduction

Nowhere else does SAP have a similarly high contribution margin: the maintenance fee can be booked as profit for the most part - Oracle, Microsoft, IBM, etc. also earn very good money from the license payments for support.
Through the Hana monoculture, SAP has the opportunity to increase this contribution margin again strongly - also by releasing support employees, about 1000 are to be this year and that is only the beginning.
With two hardware platforms (Intel Xeon and IBM Power), two Linux versions (Red Hat and Suse) and one database (Hana), SAP support is very lean.
Whether traditional knowledge of Oracle, IBM DB2, MS SQL Server and the many HW platforms and operating systems available in the community can be dispensed with in favor of cloud computing will become clear by 2025 at the latest.
