Summertime = Internship

The problem is SAP's understanding of license usage and decommissioning. For trainees, the CIO only needs a few additional Professional Users for a mostly short training period.
If an employee leaves the company and the successor is already present for the enrollment, then two licenses are temporarily needed for one workstation.
The new SAP license regulation states that external consultants also need a Professional User. What happens to these licenses when the project is completed?
A breathing license system, where licenses can also be purchased temporarily, does not exist in the desired form. Even for users that I have already created in the system this year, but where the productive start is not until 2018, you already have to pay a license and maintenance fee.
Once a user is created and the taximeter starts running - even if the user is demonstrably inactive. SAP is ruthless!
