Personnel announcements July/August 2015
New Realtech Managing Director
With immediate effect, Bernd Kappesser is the new Managing Director of the Walldorf-based technology company Realtech, which is thus taking a further step towards successful realignment.
Only recently, the group had renewed its brand and web presence and united its three previous consulting and software companies under the umbrella of Realtech Deutschland GmbH. Kappesser is a proven industry expert.
He comes from the IT service provider CGI, where he was Director Business Development and Industry Lead Telco. Prior to that, he held various positions in consulting and sales as a member of the management team at Devoteam Danet.
Kappesser will take on the task of successfully continuing the restructuring and returning the company to its growth path.
"Our goals are growth and the long-term success of the company. As a prerequisite for customer proximity and customer satisfaction, we need an efficient and lean organization and a range of services that is clearly tailored to customer needs"
says Kappesser.
The company had already begun to reform its business model last year. For example, the solution and product portfolio was consolidated. With the merger of the consulting and software companies to form Realtech Deutschland GmbH in April, the company aims above all to bundle know-how.
Since then, software and consulting have been merged into the four areas of IT Strategy, IT Design, IT Transition and IT Operations. Bernd Kappesser:
"By merging software and consulting, we can develop both in a more customer-oriented way. We will invest the additional innovative power in topics such as Industry 4.0, cloud and in-memory."
