Shifted SAP focus

Even after numerous telephone calls, discussions at SAP partner events and exchanges with colleagues, there is no answer to the absence. Only a private conversation with an SAP Supervisory Board member confirmed the very high level of deadline stress that Christian Klein is currently facing - free weekends: No such thing.
No one envies Christian Klein his job. In the past 50 years, the internal and external challenges have never been as great and extensive as they are now. This makes it all the more important to set a crystal-clear focus now. The share price is disastrous, the economic situation is tense, internally SAP is evaluating another redundancy campaign, Cloud, Hana and S/4 are becoming a success - but much too slowly and too late. In this complex mix, Christian Klein's focus should be on SAP's existing customers and partners - this is where the music plays! SAP CEO Christian Klein could meet the most important existing customers and partners this year in Leipzig at the DSAG annual congress. After numerous Sapphires with hand-picked visitors (invitation-only), Leipzig would be an open and dynamic reunion with the SAP community.
Christian Klein is very busy and has to make sure that centrifugal forces do not break up his SAP: The best employees are looking to jump ship and many are waiting for the next severance package. In addition, a new CFO is on the horizon. The era of the well-rehearsed team Christian Klein and Luka Mucic has come to an end. The new CFO is said to be a merciless reorganizer - as he proved at Infineon and Airbus. In the coming year, Christian Klein will have to prove himself anew and adjust to a new chairman of the supervisory board, because Professor Hasso Plattner has promised to present a successor. Turbulent times at SAP and perhaps that is why the focus on the DSAG annual congress has been lost, although this year's theme would particularly suit Christian Klein: In Search of Success!
