Cheering with joy, saddened to death

"Q2 was another fantastic quarter"SAP CEO Christian Klein jubilated, but right at the opening of trading, the SAP share fell by almost five percent. By the close of trading that day, the loss had narrowed to about 3.3 percent, and SAP stock exited trading in Frankfurt/Main at 117.50 euros.
What was a cause for celebration for Christian Klein and CFO Luka Mucic was obviously judged differently by the financial community. We will see who is right at the end of the calendar year. This day showed one more thing: the great disorientation in the SAP community.
The share price fluctuated continuously between 115 and almost 120 euros. Where is the journey heading? We want to know and have started a professional survey together with the analysts from Teknowlogy/PAC - please HERE participate in it.
A first interim result has already been written by analyst Joachim Hackmann, Vice President for Enterprise Applications and related Services at Teknowlogy/PAC: "There is no doubt that users' SAP landscapes are (once again) in a state of upheaval. S/4 Hana, Business Transformation Platform, cloud computing, IoT, automation and digitalization are examples of technologies and offerings that are having a fundamental impact on SAP installations and business processes. The initial results of the survey show: There is no lack of tools, but there is a lack of strategies.
The tools offered by SAP are frequently used and - unsurprisingly - very popular among the respondents. However, a significant number of participants also use analytics solutions from other manufacturers. It is a cause for concern that between 30 and 50 percent of the participants stated that they were aware of the importance of data, but had not yet implemented a strategy. In view of the constantly increasing wealth of data, this is a cause for concern."
