Siemens and AWS Democratize Software Development
Siemens and Amazon Web Services (AWS) are strengthening their partnership and making it easier for companies to create and scale their software applications using generative artificial intelligence (AI). Siemens is integrating Amazon Bedrock into Mendix - a low-code platform with 50 million users and part of the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio. Bedrock is a service that offers basic AI models via a single interface, together with the necessary safety applications and integrated responsible AI.

The combination allows customers to choose the generative AI model that best fits their specific use case and integrate it into their software applications. This makes app development easier, faster and more efficient. Previously, developers who wanted to integrate generative AI models had to gain access and write special program code. With the new integration of Mendix and Amazon Bedrock, they can now do this with just a few clicks. Teams can create intelligent applications - without specialized programming skills.
