SAP has achieved a technical masterstroke with Hana and S/4 and a few other cloud apps (incl. the Corona warning app). But SAP's existing customers are not opting for S/4 because of technical magic tricks, but because of business, organizational, technical and also licensing advantages - yes, licenses are also a very important issue in the digital transformation and the S/4 release change.
Added value and benefits after the S/4 Hana implementation project: "Overall, eleven percent of DSAG e.V. members rate the system as very positive," says a recent survey by the German-language user association. That's not much, is it? Almost half of DSAG members found the processes more complex than expected after the S/4 implementation. One is reminded of the SAP theme: run simple!
And there is still a lot of work ahead for existing SAP customers: DSAG has surveyed that for 63 percent of members, the optimization of existing business processes is at the top of the list. Accordingly, the SAP community seems to be hoping that the benefits of the application will still become clear - applies to Hana, S/4 and the Corona app.
