Find S/4 added value

The added value is new S/4 algorithms and S/4 data structures after a successful ERP/ECC 6.0 era. Whichever color theory and whichever infrastructure the existing SAP customer may prefer, the added value results from a renewed and intensive preoccupation with one's own organizational structure and process organization and a matching ERP system.

The S/4 conversion has received a lot of criticism because it costs almost as much as a new ERP implementation. This insight may be correct: A general renovation and maintenance cost just as much as a new building.

The added value of a general refurbishment is the same floor plan, trusted partners and continuity. The S/4 added value can be an ERP revolution for algorithms and data structures, while retaining the existing values such as customer relationships, trust and success.

The new challenge is simply formulated: The task is to prepare a release change that must be an IT revolution and yet not corrupt the SAP inventory values. From a conceptual point of view, a revolution; from an operational point of view, an evolution.
