Tobias Ortwein joins Accenture from PAC
Tobias Ortwein has been appointed Principal Director - Business & Technology Innovation at management consulting, technology and outsourcing services provider Accenture. In the newly created position, Ortwein will develop strategies and roadmaps for SAP landscapes in the respective teams.
Ortwein works in the Munich office and reports to Frank Mang, Managing Director Technology at SAP partner Accenture. Previously, Tobias Ortwein was a partner at global level responsible for PAC's research and consulting activities in the area of business application software and related services at Pierre Audoin Consultants (PAC), a market analysis and consulting firm for the software and ICT services market.
He also served as Head of Consulting and Global Lead Analyst for SAP. From 2008 to 2012, he was Senior Vice President focusing on the global project business market and led PAC's SAP Services Research. From 2006 to 2008, Ortwein was responsible for activities in the DACH region as Managing Director of PAC Germany.
Ortwein has worked for PAC since 2002. "In my role as lead analyst for SAP at PAC and global practice leader for the topic 'Business Application Software & Services', I had the opportunity to observe and analyze Accenture for more than ten years.
What stood out in particular was Accenture's ability to continuously identify technological innovations at a very early stage and generate benefits for the customer within the scope of transformation projects. The stringency with which Accenture lives this mission is, for me, unique in the industry."
Hinrich Mielke moves from Realtech to Alegri
Alegri International has appointed Hinrich Mielke as Director for the SAP team. Mielke, who has many years of experience in SAP consulting, will be responsible for the entire SAP area at Alegri in the future. Alegri supports its clients in implementing a successful dual-platform strategy with Microsoft and SAP products.
The focus is also on the new SAP products such as S/4 Hana Finance, Fiori and SAP from the cloud. The engineering graduate previously worked for many years in various positions at Realtech Germany, including Consulting Manager for Sourcing and Hana, and built up the Managed Services division. Most recently, Mielke was Key Account Manager for well-known national and international SAP clients in the key account environment.
"IT must be operated economically in the long term, demonstrate flexibility and be able to support business processes in an agile manner. The dual-platform strategy approach with the integration of the respective strengths of Microsoft and SAP is therefore absolutely right and I am looking forward to the new challenge at Alegri."

Mielke continues. In his role as SAP Director, Mielke is also a member of the Executive Board at Alegri.
Sabine Bendiek heads Microsoft Germany
Sabine Bendiek takes over as Chairman of the Management Board from
Microsoft Germany with the beginning of 2016 and takes over responsibility for Microsoft's business in Germany with more than 2,700 Microsoft employees and the business with more than 31,500 Microsoft partner companies.
A technology industry executive with more than 20 years of professional experience, Sabine Bendiek joins Microsoft from her current position as vice president and general manager of EMC Germany.
Previously, she was responsible for the Small and Medium Business in the DACH region at Dell. Earlier in her career, Bendiek also worked for McKinsey, Booz Allen and Siemens Nixdorf Information Systems.
Dinko Eror new head of EMC Germany
Dinko Eror will take over as CEO of EMC Germany on January 1, 2016, succeeding Sabine Bendiek. Eror has more than 25 years of professional experience in the IT industry and has worked at EMC for six years.
He currently leads EMC's services business in EMEA as vice president of EMC Global Services, having previously served as vice president of the presales organization in EMEA.
He gained experience at EMC Germany from 2009 to 2013, first as Director Technology Solutions and then as Senior Director Global Services. Before joining EMC, he held various management positions at Hewlett-Packard, most recently as Head of Data Centre Organization North, Central & Eastern Europe.
Thomas Thiel Associated Partner at MHP
Thomas Thiel joined the management and IT consultancy MHP at the beginning of October. Before joining MHP, Thiel, who holds a degree in economics, was a principal at Wincor Nixdorf Banking Consulting. At MHP, Thiel is primarily responsible for building up the new Financial Services division.
After training as a banker, Thiel completed a degree in economics with a focus on finance, from which he graduated with a doctorate. This was followed by positions as an auditor and consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and as Director and Head of Strategic Management at Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW). He also successfully ran his own consulting company for over 13 years.
Harald Kornfeld leads Alegri's Austrian operations
MS and SAP partner Alegri has appointed a new head of its Vienna office. Harald E. Kornfeld, an experienced IT sales manager with many years of experience, will manage business in Austria at Alegri in the future.
With Kornfeld, Alegri has gained an experienced IT sales manager as the new head of the Vienna location as of August 1, 2015. The sales and marketing expert previously held management positions at Xerox, for example, and has long been familiar with the Austrian IT market.
"Alegri offers its clients the great advantage of being able to consult equally in Microsoft and SAP technologies: from strategic planning, implementation and installation to the operation of the environments. I look forward to placing these topics with our Austrian customers in the future and implementing them with my experienced team."
Vladimir Mlynar is taking on marketing responsibility at Axians ICT Austria in addition to his role as CTO. Mlynar has been with Axians since 2006, where he was active as Director Managed Services until January 2015, after which he assumed the role of CTO.
The SAP project house SPV Solutions, Products, Visions has appointed Dieter Großmann to its Supervisory Board. The former Siemens and SAP manager has extensive expertise in SAP operations (managed services and cloud) and in SAP project business.
SAP has a new head of marketing for the Europe, Middle East and Africa and Central and Eastern Europe regions in Katja Mehl. Most recently, Mehl was senior vice president in SAP's Marketing Leadership Team (MLT) and head of marketing for the MEE region. Mehl joined SAP in 1996.
The ROC Group, consulting house for SAP Human Capital Management, has expanded its corporate management. Oliver Back has been acting as Chief Operating Officer since the beginning of October. Back has been ROC's Managing Director for Germany since the beginning of 2013 and will continue to hold this position in addition to his global ones.
]The SAP Works Council has elected software engineer Klaus Merx as its new chairman. The non-union candidate won the election at the end of October with a two-thirds majority. Doris Vielsack from the IG-Metall union will be his deputy.
Claudia Heinisch is the new Manager Business Development & Sales at SAP specialist Frontworx, a subsidiary of IT service provider Cellent Austria. Before joining Frontworx, Heinisch was a member of the management board at SAP Austria, where she was responsible for specialist sales and then for marketing.
