Jürgen Müller new member of the Executive Board of SAP

As of January 1, 2019, Jürgen Müller will join the Executive Board of SAP, where he will head the Technology and Innovation division. Müller has been SAP's first Chief Innovation Officer since 2016. In addition to his previous responsibilities, he will also be responsible for the platform and development areas at SAP.

From January 1, 2019, there will be further changes to the SAP Executive Board: Bernd Leukert will take over the Digital Business Services division at SAP together with Michael Kleinemeier at the beginning of next year. However, Kleinemeier will be leaving the SAP Executive Board at the end of 2019 when his contract expires due to his age. From then on, Bernd Leukert will head the division alone.
The Cloud Business Group, CEO Rob Enslin, Global Customer Operations, CEOs Adaire Fox-Martin and Jennifer Morgan, Global Finance and Administration, CEO Luka Mucic, and Human Resources, CEO Stefan Ries, remain unaffected by the changes and will continue to be managed by the aforementioned individuals.
John Schweitzer appointed to the Management Board of Software AG

The Supervisory Board of Software AG has appointed John Schweitzer as the new Chief Customer Officer and member of the Management Board of Software AG from November 2018.
John Schweitzer succeeds Eric Duffaut, who is pursuing new challenges outside the Group after four years at Software AG.
Schweitzer previously worked at SAP and was responsible for the analytics business and the successful introduction of Hana in the US market. During his 23 years in the international software industry, Schweitzer focused on the areas of integration, applications, databases and analytics.
"Based in Silicon Valley, John Schweitzer will further raise our profile in Software AG's most important market. He will bring innovative and international perspectives to the development of our new corporate strategy," says Sanjay Brahmawar, CEO of Software AG.
The appointment of John Schweitzer underlines the importance of a strong sales organization as part of the company's strategic realignment to increase growth.

Andreas Zipser moves up at Sage

The experienced sales expert will be responsible for business in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland as Managing Director Central Europe from October 1.
Andreas Zipser had already been temporarily managing Sage's business in Central Europe as Vice President Sales Central Europe together with Heino Erdmann, Commercial Finance Director, since May 2018, following the unexpected death of Rainer Downar in April 2018.
The new man at the helm will report directly to Blair Crump, President of the Sage Group. Heino Erdmann will continue in his previous position as Commercial Finance Director. Zipser joined Sage Germany in 2015 as Managing Director SMB and in this role was responsible for the entire SME business, from product development to marketing, sales, consulting and support.
As part of the global functional realignment of the Sage organization, he took on the role of Vice President Sales Central Europe in 2016. In addition to regional sales responsibility, he also led the introduction of a new partner program for the successful marketing of Sage's cloud-based business solutions.
Dirk Kretzschmar elected to the Bitkom Executive Board

At this year's general meeting of Bitkom in Berlin, Dirk Kretzschmar was elected to the association's main board. Kretzschmar has been Managing Director of TÜV Informationstechnik for more than three years.
Bitkom's Executive Board represents the members of Bitkom's various industry segments in technical and structural terms. Its tasks include, in particular, electing the members of the Executive Committee and approving the annual financial statements on the basis of the Executive Committee's report.
Kretzschmar is now part of the main board for two years, which currently consists of around 100 owners, board members or managing directors of member companies or board members of member associations.

Natalie Rees becomes Head of Marketing at United Planet

Natalie Rees has taken over the management of the interdisciplinary marketing team at United Planet. The digital expert joined the Freiburg-based software company at the beginning of the month and is responsible for the company's overall marketing.
"We are delighted to have gained an expert in digital marketing in Natalie Rees. Her experience will not only make our marketing team more successful, but also advance the entire company digitally"
explains Katrin Beuthner, Managing Director at United Planet.
Natalie Rees is moving from GroupM in Vienna, where she was responsible for the online performance business unit Light Reaction, to United Planet. Here she is responsible for managing the eight-strong marketing team.
"What appeals to me most about working for United Planet is being able to implement targeted digital marketing measures that have a direct impact on the ROI of my own company, instead of working on the agency side for the success of other companies," says Natalie Rees after joining the Freiburg-based software manufacturer.
Jörg Hartmann took over the position of Central Operations Officer (COO) at Konica Minolta Germany at the beginning of November. In his role as COO, Hartmann is pursuing the goal of expanding and promoting Konica Minolta's digital transformation.
Michael Jung and Frank Schmelzer have been appointed as members of the Orbis Management Board. Both started their careers at Orbis after completing their business studies and have held various management positions at the company for more than 30 years.
Michael Hon-Mong has been appointed Vice President of Acronis and General Manager Europe. Hon-Mong previously held various sales and management positions at Acronis. He was also instrumental in building the organization.
Oliver Ebel has been appointed Area Vice President for Germany, Austria and Switzerland at Citrix. In his new role, the industrial engineering graduate will continue to expand the business around Citrix solutions for the digital workplace and modern networks.
Annette Green takes over the position of Vice President DACH at SAS. She previously held various management positions in the Sales and Marketing divisions at SAS - most recently as Vice President of the Commercial division. She succeeds Patric Märki, who has left the company.
Andrei Baranov, company co-founder, takes over the tasks with immediate effect
as sole CEO of Veeam. Peter McKay, previously Co-CEO, will leave the company. The changes are intended to accelerate Veeam's expansion.
