Oliver Kelkar creates innovations for MHP
Oliver Kelkar has been responsible for product and innovation management at Mieschke Hofmann und Partner (MHP) since the beginning of the year. With the innovation division, the process and IT consultancy is pursuing the goal of picking up on new technologies and market potential and making them usable for users.
"The automotive industry is currently undergoing an enormous process of change. The global shift in markets, the networking of vehicles and the increasing ecological demands on the product and its manufacture are just a few examples.
This multifaceted change requires new ways of thinking, calls for new business models and necessitates effective processes that are consistently secured by IT"
says Oliver Kelkar.
MHP wants to support its customers in mastering these new challenges with preconceived services and products. Interdisciplinary innovation teams are currently developing approaches for the sensible use of in-memory technology in the automotive environment and practical applications for the networked vehicle.
For the mechanical engineer with a doctorate, his new role as Head of Product and Innovation Management is a return to familiar tasks. As a research associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering, he had already developed scientific trends into marketable innovations with economic added value between 1995 and 2004.
Oliver Kelkar joined MHP in 2004 and has worked for the Porsche subsidiary in various functions since then. He has been an Associated Partner and member of the Executive Board since 2012.
Christian Rudolph becomes Vice President at Borland
Christian Rudolph joined Micro Focus at the end of February as Vice President Borland Sales. In this role, he assumes overall responsibility for sales of Borland solutions in the EMEA and South America regions.
Christian Rudolph worked as a sales and account manager at Océ, Bull and Fujitsu Softek, among others. He joined Borland in 2003. After a short time, he took over overall sales responsibility for the DACH region.
Following the acquisition of Borland by Micro Focus in 2009, Rudolph was responsible for sales of Borland solutions in Central Europe. During his 15 years in the IT industry, Rudolph has acquired proven expertise in the areas of software development, application lifecycle management and quality management.
"The Borland solution portfolio is of considerable strategic importance to us. The Borland business unit currently accounts for a significant proportion of sales and will continue to be a central pillar of our company in the future. Christian Rudolph can provide us with decisive support in further expanding our market share in application lifecycle management solutions"

Christian Rudolph is also looking forward to the challenge:

Matthias Schlarb strengthens Cisco team in Walldorf
The Cisco SAP Competence Center has strengthened its virtualization team with Matthias Schlarb, who has been responsible for the SAP FlexPod solution portfolio since January 2013.
"I am delighted to be able to extend the features of FlexPod for SAP, which have proven themselves in many customer installations, and make them even more flexible"
explains the SAP expert.
Matthias Schlarb has experience in the development and support of virtualization solutions for SAP customers. He also gained practical recommendations in customer support as part of the SAP LinuxLab, which were passed on to customers and partners in the form of best-practice workshops.
Michael Missbach, Head of the Cisco SAP Competence Center, also points out the key role of his new employee in the development of new solutions for HA concepts for virtualized SAP systems.
NTT Data Germany with new management
NTT Data Germany is under new management as of April 1, 2013.
As the new CEO of NTT Data in EMEA, Patrizio Mapelli will also assume the role of Head of Germany. In addition, three divisional heads will complement the management team:
Wendelin Frei takes over as Managing Director for Telecommunication, Utilities, Services and Logistics, Dieter Loewe becomes Managing Director for Public and Financial Services and Rainer Mehl takes over as Managing Director for Manufacturing.

Pool4Tool expands its workforce
Pool4Tool is further expanding its team in response to sales and project growth. With immediate effect, Andreas Marek has joined the sales team at the company's headquarters in Vienna. As an expert in areas such as eProcurement and supplier management, he is responsible for acquiring new customers as well as
also for existing customers.
Munich-born Xaver Brandauer has also been working at Pool4Tool since the beginning of the year and supports international IT projects in purchasing as a consultant. He previously worked at Knorr-Bremse, where he was involved in the introduction of Pool4Tool solutions and therefore has first-hand knowledge of customer requirements.
In addition to his training in computer science and business, Brandauer brings extensive practical experience to his new role.
Brocade appointed Jeff Lindholm as the new SVP Worldwide Sales effective March 4, 2013. He is responsible for developing and executing the global sales strategy, which includes all Brocade networking products and solutions. Lindholm reports to Lloyd Carnes, who has been CEO of Brocade since the beginning of this year.
Mark Phibbs, who has been with Adobe since 2003, was appointed VP EMEA for Marketing at the beginning of March. His main task is to raise awareness of the Creative and Marketing Cloud solutions. As Marketing Director for Asia-Pacific and responsible for the global channel marketing strategy, he has already achieved considerable success.
Jim Foy, currently on the board of Kalido, LiveLook and Dealertrack Technology, will join open source software provider Talend as Executive Chairman for its next phase of expansion. "Jim brings unrivaled experience from the software industry," says Bertrand Diard, CEO and co-founder of Talend.
The service and consulting company NorthgateArinso has appointed Jens Steinbicker as Sales Director DACH and Eastern Europe. His many years of expertise will help the company to further expand its position in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Steinbicker most recently worked for Logica and Siemens.
Markus Schepp and Daniel Tydecks are joining the sales team for banks, stock exchanges, insurance companies and investment companies at Progress Software. Schepp has 17 years of experience in the financial sector and will further expand the company's market position as Strategic Account Executive. He will be supported by Tydecks as Solutions Consultant.
Information Builders opened its European headquarters in Amsterdam in February and appointed Dennis Bartels as VP European Headquarters. Bartels, who has been with the company for 20 years, knows the requirements for products and market conditions like no other, CEO Gerald Cohen is convinced.
