New S/4HANA implementation at sonnen GmbH - a project report by NTT DATA Business Solutions
sonnen GmbH, one of the world's leading manufacturers of electricity storage systems, has set itself the goal of making clean and affordable energy possible for everyone. In 2010, the company started production of the first sonnen battery in the small Allgäu town of Wildpoldsried. Today, production takes place at a total of six locations in Germany, Italy, Great Britain, the USA and Australia. The rapid growth required an adaptation of the IT infrastructure, with the challenge for sonnen GmbH being to replace the decentralized system landscape.
The goal: to meet the requirements of the individual departments, to become more efficient, more transparent, and thus even more sustainable.
