MSG founder honored for lifetime achievement

Market research and consulting firm Lünendonk & Hossenfelder presented the Business-to-Business Service Awards for the 14th time. The jury voted for Hans Zehetmaier, co-founder of Germany's largest owner-managed IT service provider MSG.
The jury justified the lifetime achievement award as follows: "Under his leadership, MSG developed into the largest group-independent IT consultancy headquartered in Germany. In 2023, the company generated total sales of around 1.4 billion euros and is one of the market-leading IT consultancies in Germany for the banking, insurance and public sectors. In recent years under his leadership, the company has successfully expanded its business to other sectors (including automotive and industry) and enjoys a very good reputation among employees, customers and competitors."
Zehetmaier founded MSG Software GmbH in 1980, from which MSG Systems AG emerged in 2001. In the Lünendonk list "Leading IT consulting and system integration companies in Germany", MSG was ranked fourth in 2024.
Other awards went to the Wackler Group for its pioneering role in service robotics and the top management consultancy Horn und Company for its growth strategy.
