As a user association, DSAG takes a close look at the "Evolution of the Business Suite". DSAG Chairman Marco Lenck explains:
"For S/4 Hana to become an ERP/4 customer and be accepted by the market, customers need new application scenarios and business cases based on them, which then result in the use of S/4."
One example of this is the digital transformation. This is linked to the question: Which customers need to map new business models based on which business requirements?
There are also companies that are sticking to proven business processes. However, they also want to improve these using their existing ERP system.
And another question arises: How does SAP move in this area of tension in order to offer needs-based solutions for companies that are traveling at different speeds?
These topics will be discussed at the DSAG Annual Congress and are expressed in the current key visual.
"This year, we have chosen a motif that signals a willingness to tackle new topics. This willingness goes hand in hand with a cross-generational pioneering spirit and a certain willingness to take risks.
These are all qualities that companies need if they want to create new business models and processes that involve new concepts such as the Internet of Things"
is how DSAG Managing Director Mario Günter describes the selected motif.
Around 4,000 participants are expected again this year. The three-day event will be accompanied by a trade exhibition with 175 partners.
