In addition to current trends and developments in maintenance, the SAP EAM 2018 congress will also address the challenge of how maintenance processes can be made more future-oriented and efficient with the help of digital technologies.

In addition, the question of what opportunities innovative approaches offer will be explored. Keynotes on current trends are intended to provide valuable impetus and recommendations for action for current and future challenges.

The program also includes intensive workshops on maintenance with S/4 Hana, digital data exchange with SAP Asset Intelligence and the new functions in SAP EAM.

In 18 demo jams, SAP employees, partners and experts will demonstrate processes and add-ons live and reveal tips & tricks to overcome common challenges.

Markus Seidl, Principal Solution Architect EAM, SAP Germany, will show what information can be shared via the AIN, what possibilities there are for integration with back-end systems, and how collaboration can be used between business partners.

The round-table discussions also provide an opportunity for small groups to exchange ideas. Apart from the presentations and live demos, congress visitors have the chance to discuss their questions with specialists and managers who face similar challenges in their daily work.

Topics include machine integration, IoT, predictive maintenance and machine learning, or what cloud-based customer/supplier collaboration brings.
