On March 26 and 27, 2019, the Deutsche Oracle-Anwendergruppe e. V. (DOAG) and Oracle are taking the increasing flood of data into account: With the joint Data Analytics 2019 conference at Phantasialand in Brühl, they are highlighting the question of the efficient use of data.
Not only since last year's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union has the flood of data established itself as a topic that moves both courts and minds.
Data has long since broken through the narrow boundaries of the IT sector and has become a visible factor in everyday business life. One in four machines in German factories is now networked, and the trend is rising.
The conference is dedicated to this challenging range of topics with over 30 presentations in the streams of big data, information management, business innovation, application optimization and BI from different perspectives.
Both business analysts and users from the field will get their money's worth and attend inspiring presentations. The program includes practical presentations such as "Data Driven Marketing at Payback" by Ansgar Schneider (Payback) as well as more theoretical presentations, for example "Data, Analytics, AI: Will the future be naughty or nice?" by Prof. Gottfried Vossen (University of Münster).
Three knowledge transfer sessions led by Oracle experts will also kick off the event and will be of interest to users and analysts alike.
