NTT Data Business Solutions was honored with four SAP Pinnacle Awards 2023 in the following categories: "Sales Success - Midmarket", "Sales Success - Cross Segment", "Customer Success Management" and "Partner-Led Demand Management". The SAP consulting company was also recognized as a finalist in the categories "Delivery Quality" and "Cloud Business Transformation with S/4 Hana Cloud, Public Edition." In addition, the entire NTT Data group was nominated as a finalist in the "Social Impact" category. This is the ninth consecutive time NTT Data has been recognized with a Pinnacle Award.

SAP Migration Factory: The move to S/4 Hana
Devoteam, a consulting company, is breaking new ground with the SAP Migration Factory. To ensure the successes that have been achieved through the implementation of digitization and automation strategies, companies must increasingly rely on new solutions. S/4 Hana is one of them. The ERP real-time solution S/4 Hana holds numerous added values for its users. However, there is another reason why many companies are now looking to switch to S/4 Hana: Due to the constantly evolving SAP landscape, the switch has become a necessity. To ensure that the changeover is a success, Devoteam provides a powerful toolchain in the form of the new SAP Migration Factory.
Throughout the process, Devoteam works with Ansible from Red Hat - an automation platform based on open source components. A process that recently took several days to implement can be coordinated in just a few hours using the new SAP Migration Factory toolchain and the Ansible Automation Hub - and that for the entire SAP landscape of the operation.
SAP Treasury Management System
As part of the "Automated Trading" innovation project, Convista and the provider of the 360T trading platform have combined their respective expertise and linked up with an SAP treasury management system. Background: treasury departments increasingly desire to work with cloud-based and AI-integrated trading solutions that require significantly less manpower and time. High-tech trading automation solutions are the solution. By automating previously manual review work and data entry, treasurers are putting themselves in a better position to meet the new challenges of digitalization and globalization. Last year, Convista developed the treasury bot "Tracy" with its technology partner Cloudshore.
As a digital worker based on Robotic Process Automation (RPA), it supports treasury departments by automating the execution of FX deals. By licensing the SAP trading integration app and the execution management system (EMS) 360T, Tracy is extended accordingly. Benefits include further reduction of operational costs, human errors and market risks in all parts of the trading life cycle, as well as higher compliance and transparency.
Warehouse management made easy
Most warehouse management programs do not allow effective cooperation with the ERP system from SAP. This means that many unused opportunities are lost, but this does not have to be the case. Cosys Ident warehouse management software offers direct connection to the SAP ERP system. Cosys has developed specialized interfaces that allow the programs to exchange virtually any data between them, dramatically increasing the benefits of both systems. This allows customers to exchange master data to keep the Cosys system up to date, or automatically send the latest inventory in the warehouse to SAP at all times.
Through the NVE ("shipping unit number"), all relevant goods information is made available in the SAP ERP system and can be used through the automatic exchange of the Cosys backend. The software for recording the inventory of goods uses barcode scanners to simplify the work and speed up the processes. This is helped by the NVE, which can be entered directly via the scanners. Intelligent batch management is an advantage, as it offers the possibility to store even more precise information about the goods and to manage them better. If goods are received in batches, then these are also recorded directly in goods receipt and stored in the system as well as sent to the SAP system.
CNT supports Andritz in SAP conversion
The machine and plant manufacturer Andritz has converted its entire financial accounting system to S/4 Hana. Four consultants from the SAP consultancy CNT Management Consulting were involved in the complex ledger solution. The changeover is the prelude and preparation for an even more extensive conversion project. Until now, Andritz operated its classic general ledger accounting in SAP ERP, with separate accounts for accounting according to local and IFRS regulations. The S/4 Hana solution now provides for uniform general ledger accounting and is thus an essential preparation for the group conversion to S/4.

The conversion to the new general ledger and asset accounting using a ledger solution enables the streamlining of the chart of accounts and an optimization of existing processes in financial accounting. Another asset: Based on extensive previous project experience, CNT was also able to support Andritz in adapting existing processes to the newly introduced SAP solutions.
Werth IT unveils Security Dashboard 2.0

for attack detection and security assessment of the SAP landscape: Security Dashboard 2.0, which visualizes all security risks in the systems detected by WerthAuditor and enables an assessment of the associated security processes. The interactive and editable dashboard clearly prepares all security information in real time. Since May 1, 2023, the IT Security Act 2.0 (IT-SIG 2.0 for short) takes effect, which significantly expands the German Kritis regulation of 2015. This means: more obligations for companies and IT managers, higher cybersecurity requirements and expanded powers for the state and regulatory authorities.
This is a demanding challenge for companies that use SAP for their critical infrastructures and are thus in the focus of IT-SIG 2.0, because most solutions do not meet the increasing security requirements. Werth IT's latest innovation - a clear dashboard that shows all security risks as well as the associated security processes in the systems within one interface in real time - therefore comes at exactly the right time.
The visualization of all security information of all communicating systems of the complete SAP landscape centrally in only one dashboard is a unique selling point of the solution. Also extremely valuable: The dashboard shows in real time and in detail how secure the SAP landscape is positioned, which headings need to be improved, and where immediate action is required.
Centric grows and expands
Centric has expanded its portfolio to include a complete service for the SuccessFactors HXM Suite. Customer consulting on the move to the cloud has become a strong business area for the SAP HR specialist, alongside audit and compliance tools and digital document processes. As an official sell, service and build partner of SAP, Centric supports its customers in the assessment and integration of their HR products and in the design and implementation of their HXM HR management solution. An important basis for the expanded consulting offering is the conclusion of the SAP sell and service partnership. Centric has thus expanded its existing cooperation with SAP and added implementation consulting in the HXM SuccessFactors environment to its portfolio.
