Cash audit - Worse than the GDPR?

This is not new, but in most companies it is not yet treated with the priority that is required during audits.

Cases have already been reported in the press, but most of them are only reacted to in the case of an audit. And this is happening at a time when handing over data media to the tax authorities is the rule rather than the exception.

Here, it is a matter of taking action at an early stage and addressing the issue of audit-proof archiving of cash register data. This also includes the creation of GoBD-compliant procedural documentation.

It is usually a problem of mass, especially where several hundred cash registers are in use and millions of transactions occur. Here, it is a particular challenge to store the original cash register receipts immediately, completely and in an audit-proof manner and to make them available in an audit-compliant manner in the event of an audit.
