The global and independent platform for the SAP community.

E3 Category: Internal Communications

Individual and public comments on the SAP community find their place here. Everything that needs to be said once should also be documented. The community is a community of values in which an open, transparent and unprejudiced discourse is conducted by us.

With customs barriers, trade barriers, and wars, the world is being atomized and defragmented by autocrats. Fortunately, we have a global SAP community with a website in German, English, Spanish, and now, French.
The combination of AI algorithms and powerful hardware, such as Nvidia's graphics processors, has sparked a revolution. The most visible result is ChatGPT, though SAP is also working on the subject.

Writing this is akin to a tautology, i.e., saying the same thing twice. Isn't journalism necessarily always creative? Whether it's court reporting or a discussion on rising SAP share prices, creativity is always needed to produce something.
When supply chains became fragile and global logistics and production began to stutter, SAP was able to help and win with a comprehensive ERP/SCM. As SAP CEO Klein often emphasized, supply chain planning is one of SAP's strengths.
While this edition of E3 was being sent to the printers, SAP CEO Christian Klein and CFO Dominik Asam presented the latest quarterly figures. As a result, the SAP share price in Frankfurt am Main rose to an all-time high of 222 euros.
Is SAP innovative? We don't know. The ERP company is notably reticent with regard to innovations, research, and development. Opinions differ as to why this is the case.
