The end of ECC 6.0 and R/3 is clearly on the horizon. However, the exact date seems to be a challenge for SAP. What is clear, however, is that support for the previous SAP core systems will be discontinued in a few years.
Hyperscaler! The term sounds like a digital awakening, promises unlimited growth - and has thus finally helped the cloud to achieve a breakthrough.
There are as many arguments in favor of the public cloud as they are against it. A way to combine its advantages with the benefits of on premises is a hybrid approach.
In the past, only the SAP system landscape was often outsourced, right up to the upper midmarket.
Cloud has developed rapidly in recent years. Figures from the Cloud Monitor, published by Bitkom Research and KPMG, illustrate this: in 2011, the public cloud was not an issue for 87 percent of the companies surveyed. In 2019, only 31 percent still saw it that way.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion. 

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.
