Guido Schneider heads new SAP unit at Aspera
SAP expert Guido Schneider is the new SAP Business Unit Manager at market leader for software license management Aspera. In this role, he will build up the global SAP license business.
In addition to the SAP license optimization solution SmartTrack License Control for SAP (SLC), Aspera now also offers comprehensive SAP license consulting. Schneider has already trained numerous license consultants for the SAP consulting business in Europe and the USA.
Over the past few years, he has supported more than one hundred customers in SAP license management. During this time, he developed a method to guide companies to the optimal SAP license agreement in five steps: Based on a contract analysis, a usage analysis of all SAP metrics and a needs analysis, this is followed by the joint development of a negotiation strategy and coaching during the contract negotiation with SAP.
He founded SecurIntegration in 2001. Until the merger with Aspera, he managed the company as sole owner and managing director.
SecurIntegration was fully integrated into the new SAP business unit in May. Schneider has been advising SAP customers on security, authorization management, governance, risk & compliance (GRC) and SAP Identity Management (IDM) since 1996. The SLC product was developed on this basis.
Schneider is the author and publisher of several specialist books such as "The Secure SAP NetWeaver Portal" (2007) and "GRC in SAP environments: Governance, Risk, Compliance", (2008, MITP-Verlag). He is a lecturer for SAP Security at the FH Brandenburg in the Master's program Security Management.
Ciber Germany appoints Chairman of the Management Board
Stephan Reiss takes over as CEO of Ciber and Chairman of the Management Board of Ciber Managed Services in Germany. Together with Andrew Nicholson, Reiss forms the new Management Board of the internationally active consulting firm in Germany.
Reiss joined Ciber Germany as a member of the Management Board on May 1 and was initially responsible for operations in the DACH region as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
He has held various management positions at British Telecommunications since 1999 and has extensive experience in the ICT market. Most recently, as General Manager at BT, he was responsible for the corporate business in Germany and Austria and was instrumental in driving BT's growth in this segment.

New Head of Cybersecurity at CSC
CSC has appointed Jörg Asma as the new Director Cybersecurity for Central and Eastern Europe. In his new role, he will further expand the regional business with CSC's cybersecurity offerings.

Alexander Wallner becomes NetApp's General Manager EMEA
NetApp appoints Alexander Wallner as the new Senior Vice President and General Manager EMEA. This position was previously held by Manfred Reitner, who has left the company after almost 20 years.
Wallner joined NetApp in 1999 and was most recently Area Vice President CEMA and Managing Director Germany.
With its customer-centric business philosophy, NetApp Germany has achieved a market-leading position for six consecutive years.

New Division Director Industries at Sopra Steria
Kai Staffeldt takes over responsibility for the Industries division at Sopra Steria Consulting as a member of the management board.
In this role, he will continue to drive forward the business and service portfolio of the management and technology consultant for the manufacturing, telecommunications, energy/gas and aerospace technology sectors.
Before joining Sopra Steria, he was VP - Manufacturing Industry at NTT Data and before that worked for almost 16 years as an Executive Partner at IBM and PWC.
The business economist and MBA graduate has around 20 years of consulting experience in the development and implementation of business and IT strategies, corporate transformation, process harmonization, digitalization, SAP, BI/analytics and application management.
Cloud expert becomes Chief Platform Officer of Here
Here, a provider of cloud-based mapping services, has appointed Peter Kürpick as Chief Platform Officer. In this position, the cloud technology expert will be responsible for the development of the next generation of location-based services.
He is to drive forward the areas of autonomous driving, asset management and augmented reality.
Kürpick was previously Executive Vice President at Unify, a subsidiary of Atos in the field of integrated communication solutions. He has held several management positions in the IT industry, for example at Software AG and SAP.
Kürpick holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Kassel and has worked as a researcher at Kansas State University and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
CRM provider Easi'r is recruiting former SAP Vice President (VP) Frank Bunte to drive international sales of its new solution. He was most recently Head of OEM and Platform Sales for Middle & Eastern Europe at SAP and will take on the new position of VP of Sales.
Oracle Switzerland has a new Channel Manager in Sandhya Prabhu. She was previously Senior Manager of the Managed Partner Team at Oracle. Before joining Oracle, she held various management positions in the Swiss IT industry, including at Citrix and Fortinet.
Rui Martins is the new Country Manager for Switzerland at CA Technologies. Martins started his career at CA around ten years ago as Account Manager in Portugal. Here he made a significant contribution to increasing growth in Iberia, most recently as Global Account Director for CA's strategic accounts.
Talentsoft, a provider of SaaS-based solutions in the field of talent management and HR, has appointed Peter Prestele as a member of the company's Management Board. Prestele is, among other things, CEO of the German software provider proAlpha and a member of various supervisory boards of European high-tech companies.
CSC has appointed Natascha König as the new Head of Alliances in Central and Eastern Europe. Before joining CSC, König held the position of Vice President International Operations & Services at T-Systems. She previously worked for EDS and Cisco, among others.
Nicole Reimer is the new Managing Director for Finance at IBM Germany. In addition to this role, she also assumes responsibility for the finance division in Austria and Switzerland. In her previous position, Reimer was Head of IBM Mobility Services for Europe.
