In April 2016, FIS Informationssysteme und Consulting founded a new subsidiary. The FIS-iLog integrated Logistics Platform (FIS-iLog), based in Grafenrheinfeld, offers neutral and trustworthy cloud platforms on which companies can display non-critical data and processes and process them jointly online.
The managing directors of the new company are Ralf Bernhardt and Johannes Weigand. Ralf Bernhardt is now additionally commercial managing director of FIS-iLog in addition to his activities as managing director of FIS.
Johannes Weigand is responsible for technical aspects, strategic orientation, operational implementation and personnel responsibility of FIS-iLog. Successful implementation of the business idea is ensured by the partners involved for software, hardware and defined standards:
SAP as the world's leading manufacturer of innovative business software, the subsidiary FIS-ASP, which ensures the secure operation of the hardware, and GS1 Germany, which defines standards worldwide and ensures a common language between companies (e.g. EAN barcode).
