More transparency, please!
New requirements resulting from digitalization and public cloud-based operating models are also contributing to the shift. These changes are also a challenge for IT service providers, as they must have appropriate delivery models, specialized consultants, agile sourcing concepts and innovative migration methods at the ready in order to be able to competently advise and support SAP users. With this in mind, the market analysis and consulting company PAC presents the new PAC Radar series "SAP Services in Germany 2022". A total of 22 IT service providers are analyzed for their specific strengths and weaknesses on the basis of almost 100 individual criteria.
The IT service providers evaluated in the PAC Radar "SAP Consulting & Systems Integration" (see chart), for example, represent almost 50 percent of the total market volume for these SAP services in Germany. The field of providers analyzed is very heterogeneous. It ranges from internationally established service providers with several tens of thousands of certified SAP consultants worldwide and extensive offshore and nearshore resources to national providers with a few hundred local SAP experts and a focus on German SME customers.
However, regardless of size, almost all providers cover the entire C&SI-relevant value chain, from consulting and implementation to testing and training. In terms of subject matter, the majority focus on classic ERP solutions (such as ECC and R3). Many also offer C&SI services for SAP SaaS applications such as Successfactors, Fieldglass and Ariba as well as for SAP's CX portfolio. Without exception, all providers have expanded their portfolio to include services for S/4 Hana migration projects.
