About this understanding of the role of open source in the SAP community and the associated opportunities E-3 Editor-in-Chief Peter Färbinger discussed at the round table with three representatives from Red Hat: Jürgen Sommer, Arne Arnold and Peter Körner provided information about the successful and broad use of open source. The SAP topics ranged from automation and security to GitHub.

The topic of integration, which is so important for existing SAP customers, was covered, as was the still young topic of edge computing. Red Hat is not only one of the most successful companies in the IT scene, but also wants to take on the role of a trusted advisor, especially in the SAP community - a challenging and important task!

Open source is not only characterized by a high degree of innovation, but also by different structures and payment models. Knowledge, experience and trust are required here.
