The European Workshop on Software Ecosystems (EWSECO) is an annual event that brings together high-level researchers and business professionals in the field of software and platform ecosystems and enterprise networks.
Once again, the eighth workshop will feature short keynote presentations on academic research results and best practices, as well as long breaks, discussions, and networking among attendees from across the software industry and academia.
The main topics are software ecosystems, business networks, open source ecosystems and platform business models. Over the past eight years, researchers from universities such as Oslo, Utrecht, Dublin, Jyvaskylä, Stuttgart, Munich, Mannheim and Darmstadt have been recruited.
Also welcomed will be experts from AWS, Cisco, Corum M&A, Deutsche Telekom, FluidOperations, IA4SP, Netfira, Salesforce, SAP, Seeburger, Siemens, Synomic and many more. The presentations and content will be selected by a top-class program committee from practice and universities.
This year, the 8th EWSECO will take place as a hybrid event in Heilbronn at the Bildungscampus as well as virtually. Online participants will have the opportunity to get in touch with speakers and technology professionals at virtual exhibitor booths, for example via live video chat, and to network (inter)actively with other participants in a lounge area.
