Complex and customized

Around 300 participants attended the 9th Info Day on Variant Configuration with SAP. This is where the cogs that keep the gears of the manufacturing industry turning meet.

They call themselves SAP VC Specialists, Variant Configuration Experts or simply IT Managers.

But they have one thing in common:

says Martin Müller, General Manager Sales at Sybit.

"And as a result, they too must face the challenges of customer orientation in the digital transformation. Our event offers the news of the development here every year - visitors appreciate that."

The consulting company Sybit presented more than 20 lectures and workshops in cooperation with SAP and other partners. In the presentations and discussions, it became clear that SAP continues to focus on the topic of variant configuration.

Experts from SAP provided information on the latest developments in variant configuration in S/4 as well as SAP PMEVC (Product Modeling Environment for VC).

Customer reports on material variants or 3D visualization showed the successful practical implementation.

Sybit has been organizing the Info Day together with SAP since 2008, and it has now established itself as a fixed date among experts.

Sybit has been carrying out projects with variant configuration for 16 years and was involved in the early development of the SAP IPC, but focuses on the entire digital customer journey.
