SAP Solution: R/3

If a company is willing to give a one hundred percent bonus on paid services to retain a customer, then customers should start thinking about the future.
SAP CEO Christian Klein wants to focus on ERP, the core strength of the ERP world market leader. This focus is honorable, but of little help to SAP's customers. The B2B world is more than just ERP.
SAP's authorization concept has been a challenge for the SAP Basis team since the beginning, because it has to be done quickly at the beginning of customizing and downstream no one wants to maintain the roles and authorizations.
SAP has taken a wrong turn: Instead of consolidating menus, screen masks and processes, a ChatGPT-like voice input is to be put over the disastrous UI. Why does SAP always start solving problems from the wrong side?
The end of ECC 6.0 and R/3 is clearly on the horizon. However, the exact date seems to be a challenge for SAP. What is clear, however, is that support for the previous SAP core systems will be discontinued in a few years.

In the SAP R/3 era, the Customer Competence Center, CCC, was a great success. Certified existing SAP customers were able to save parts of the annual maintenance fee and thus cross-subsidize the CCC operation.
According to SAP, there are currently more than 10,000 productive S/4 systems. The proportion of R/3 to S/4 migrations thus already provides sufficient empirical data on some key issues that are underestimated.
System copies are a regular task in the SAP data center and there are numerous tools for this. But here the question arises: Can a complete SAP system be copied and then reused on a new domain for new tasks?

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion.

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
