SIA Is Now Minsait Cyber

This step is the result of the company's evolution since joining the Indra Group more than five years ago and, at the same time, allows it to highlight and strengthen its collaboration with other areas of the company to respond more effectively to the cybersecurity challenges faced by organizations.

Luis Abril, Member of the Board of Indra and General Manager, Minsait
For Luis Abril, executive director of Indra and CEO of Minsait, “in a context of growing concern about security and increasingly complex cyber threats, also conditioned by the emergence of AI and other technologies, we need to reinforce our capabilities and strengthen cross-functionality and collaboration between all our units and businesses to ensure the protection of our customers' assets and improve our response capacity to any attack.”
In this regard, the CEO of Minsat Cyber, Roberto Espina, points out that “the advanced cybersecurity capabilities and professionals of our company perfectly complement the Indra Group's value proposition and offering, enabling us to respond in a comprehensive and more personalized manner to the demands of our customers.”
The cybersecurity company has made a significant effort in recent years to evolve its portfolio. It has not only committed to sector specialization, but also to investment and the development of its own products, with a firm commitment to technological sovereignty, the integration of advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, and key technological alliances to minimize risk and maximize the protection of businesses and services to citizens.
Under the Minsait brand image, Minsait Cyber will maintain its management, structure, operations, and team as before. The transition to the new brand image and name Minsait Cyber encompasses all the companies and brands that form part of the current SIA, except for Mobbeel, a company specializing in identity verification and biometrics, and MSS, a German cybersecurity company highly specialized in the detection and response to cyberattacks.
