The golden 20s for cloud computing
Cloud computing is experiencing an upswing: the results of this year's KPMG "Cloud Monitor" study show that there are hardly any companies with 20 or more employees that are not at least looking into the use of cloud computing.
The survey of 251 companies was conducted in Austria for the second time and was once again carried out in collaboration with the Bitkom Re-search Group.
While only 47% used a cloud solution last year, 63% of respondents now report that they have integrated cloud computing - an increase of 16 percentage points within a year. In comparison, 82% of companies in Germany use the cloud.
30 percent of respondents plan to integrate cloud computing and seven percent state that no use is planned. All respondents agree that cloud solutions make a contribution to digitalization.
