Shared Campaign Identifier
The Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft (BVDW) e. V. supports the European transparency initiative Shared Campaign Identifier (SCID) in the field of programmatic advertising.
The project was launched by the French media umbrella organization Edipub with the support of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) France: Advertisers and publishers receive a common campaign identifier. This campaign identifier makes it possible to compare and track advertising expenditure and revenue on both sides of the programmatic value chain.
On the German side, the BVDW has already launched a pilot project together with the Mediaplus Group, Xandr as technology partner and the advertising client Delta Pronatura, with further projects to follow.
