Wood specialist Fritz Egger implements the world's first access solution from Kaba that is directly integrated into SAP. With Kaba EACM, the complete online access management takes place directly via the SAP Organization Management module.
This means that no additional middleware is required and all access components communicate directly with SAP without any detours. The pilot project comprises eleven online access readers and five access controllers. All access authorizations are managed directly in the SAP Organization Management module and are therefore an integral part of the business processes.
This means, for example, that access authorizations can be assigned easily and automatically according to an employee's position in the company.
From the definition of access profiles and the assignment of rights to the issue and return of access media, the entire online access management is handled via SAP. This means that users at Egger work in the familiar SAP interface and do not have to learn a new system.
