Freedom of information is a valuable asset. Especially in times of ever-growing data treasures, the question of how business, public administration and civil society can use data together to drive progress and innovation is becoming increasingly pressing. How the necessary access to data can be regulated is currently being explored in Europe.
As part of the International Day of Universal Access to Information introduced by Unesco, which has been celebrated annually on 28 September since 2016, the focus is now on the issues surrounding the implementation of corresponding projects. Data management plays a key role here, as Cloudera emphasizes.
