New digital campus in Berlin
SAP is focusing on Berlin as a location for innovation and is therefore further expanding its presence in the German capital. Over the next few years, SAP will be investing over 200 million euros in a campus near Berlin's main railway station.
Over 30,000 square meters in the "Quartier Heidestrasse" - the so-called Europacity - will provide space for up to 1,200 employees. The building will be at the cutting edge of technological innovation and offer visitors and employees smart building technology.
SAP plans to move into the Digital Campus at the end of 2022. With the new location, SAP is strengthening technology topics such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and blockchain. SAP is thus underlining the importance of the capital region as a key location for dialog with customers, politicians, start-ups and universities.
SAP is currently represented in the capital region with several offices in Berlin-Mitte and Schönefeld, the Data Space by SAP and the SAP Innovation Center Potsdam.
