Breakthrough in software testing
Errors in software programs are one of the biggest challenges facing the software industry. Existing test solutions are inadequate because software is becoming increasingly complex and this complexity cannot be comprehensively checked for errors by humans with the approaches used.
The Austrian start-up Symflower solves two problems with its autonomous testing approach: quality assurance of the software and relieving the workload of specialists by automating routine activities. The underlying technology is based on artificial intelligence (AI) and mathematical models, meaning that nothing is left to chance when generating test cases and redundant testing is avoided.
In the unit test procedure, the smallest modules of a program (so-called units) are tested individually. With this innovative process, Symflower achieves the highest possible unit test coverage.
