Turnkey business IT

The desire for simplicity, scalability, ease of use and cost transparency in the manner of the public cloud poses challenges not only for companies' IT departments, but also for the traditional business of system houses. For this reason, the German IT service provider Vertical has fundamentally developed its business model and now offers complete corporate IT as a service. To this end, Vertical has converted its own data center infrastructure to the Enterprise Cloud Platform from Nutanix. Vertical's new infrastructure based on Nutanix is initially designed for the operation of up to 500 virtual machines (VMs) and up to 10,000 users. The applications and services offered include Microsoft Exchange 2016, the unified communications solution Skype for Business, a proprietary file sharing service, the MS SQL database platform and a remote service desktop arm, as well as the integration of ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Navision.
