Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform
Red Hat introduces improvements and enhancements to the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. The platform includes all the tools required to develop, implement and execute enterprise-wide automation processes.
A new Automation Services Catalog will be introduced to provide greater transparency about automation. It supports companies in adhering to governance, control and compliance requirements and protecting resources and environments from unwanted changes.
The catalog provides lifecycle management for automation resources that includes provisioning, decommissioning and logging of Ansible platforms, regardless of whether they are physical, virtual, cloud or container-based environments.
There are also enhancements to the Automation Analytics function, which allows users to see in detail how certain automation actions actually work.
Components include statistics and data on the most frequently used modules and resources as well as information on the status of automation and the performance of an automation environment. There are also new filters and criteria.
