Double Hana workloads
IBM has expanded the selection options for Hana infrastructures.
Companies can now install up to eight Hana production databases on a single server using the virtualization capabilities of IBM Power.
This means that more Hana workloads can be executed per server. This provides greater flexibility to meet the specific requirements of individual customers - from cloud models to balancing mission-critical applications.
Power Systems servers also have the necessary stability to operate Hana in mission-critical environments. This is important when customers migrate core applications to SAP S/4 Hana.
Predictive failure alerts from Power Systems and Smart Memory can resolve potential problems before they occur and notify system administrators early that an automatic solution has occurred, avoiding downtime.
