Bureaucratic obstacle: Entry certificate
Since January 1, 2020, stricter verification requirements have applied to international shipments of goods to other EU countries: Intra-Community deliveries are only exempt from domestic VAT if the supplier complies with certain extended requirements. In addition to a qualified check of the VAT ID number, this also includes proof that the goods have actually arrived at their destination - the so-called confirmation of arrival.
Seeger-Orbis (manufacturer of retaining rings and snap rings) uses customized SAP solutions from Xaption to handle such logistics and coordination processes in a legally compliant and efficient manner. The user-friendly software modules enable, for example, the automated processing of entry confirmations and the integration of tracking logs and certificates from freight forwarders. This supports the user-friendly digitalization of bureaucratic processes.
