The ServiceNow community hosted a Dev Meetup in Toronto on September 11. Organized by Philippe Nguyen of Pentio Inc, the event brought together a mix of ServiceNow veterans and newcomers to discuss the latest developments and share insights.
A key feature of the event was a presentation by Saaniya Chugh from BDO Canada, who also hosted a ServiceNow Jeopardy game. Ken Tang also gave a presentation at the Meetup, in which he shared his personal journey from a simple IT employee to achieving the coveted ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) certification, one of the highest qualifications in the ServiceNow ecosystem.
A special part of the event was dedicated to honoring Chuck Tomasi, a ServiceNow veteran who recently retired. Chuck was celebrated for his immense contribution to the ServiceNow community and for inspiring hundreds of young professionals. His work over the years has left a lasting legacy, and attendees took time to thank him for his dedication and mentorship.
The event was co-hosted by Eric Ng from Pentio Inc. and Viorica Bolohan from Software One, who led exciting discussions on the latest trends in ServiceNow. The mix of seasoned experts and new faces fostered a collaborative environment where attendees shared knowledge, networked and participated in stimulating conversations.
