No security trends for 2017
NTT Security does not believe in trends in IT security. Instead of selective measures, companies should develop a long-term strategy for their basic protection. Following specific trends is even counterproductive in this situation.

says security expert Patrick Schraut from NTT Security
"Such trends can only be considered by those who are already operating at the highest level in terms of security. However, most companies have not even done their homework from last year."
According to NTT Security, companies must first ensure that they have comprehensive basic protection.
However, the vast majority of companies are still a long way from achieving this, as around 90 percent have gaps in their basic protection.
