SAP Introduces EU AI Cloud

The offering combines powerful cloud and AI capabilities in a full-stack approach that combines data storage in the EU, regulatory security, and flexible deployment—from SAP's own data center to customer operations. The SAP Business Technology Platform allows production-ready AI applications to be integrated directly into business processes, including agent-based and multimodal models.

Closer partnerships with French AI companies are intended to support the initiative. Cohere, a company specializing in enterprise AI, provides sovereign AI capabilities for data-intensive processes. Mistral AI, a European developer of powerful language models, is working with SAP on a fully sovereign AI stack. Capgemini, a global IT and consulting partner, is accelerating the adoption of secure cloud and AI solutions. This is complemented by collaboration with Bleu and Delos Cloud, which secure the public sector and critical infrastructure specifically. The goal is to sustainably combine innovation, compliance, and technological independence in Europe.
