SAP consultants earn the best - Is that true?
In the first half of 2018, 43% more IT jobs were advertised than six years ago. This is shown by the StepStone Skilled Labor Atlas, for which the online job platform has been evaluating job advertisements on all relevant online and print platforms since 2012.

This is how the authors of the study describe the job profile of SAP consultants.
With an average annual salary of 65,800 euros gross, they earn more than other IT specialists. IT consultants earn EUR 64,200, software developers EUR 57,700, system administrators EUR 52,700 and IT specialists in the field of system integration EUR 42,300 per year.
In a comparison of federal states, the income of SAP consultants is highest in Hesse with an increase of seven percent. With more than ten years of professional experience, salaries increase by up to 15 percent. In contrast, women's salaries are six percent below average.
More than half of all IT specialists feel that their salary is appropriate. System administrators are ahead in this category: 62 percent of them are satisfied or very satisfied, followed closely by software developers
(60 percent).
