

With this award, Professor Scheer is one of 20 laureates to date, including nine Nobel Prize winners such as the physicists Werner Heisenberg, Klaus von Klitzing and the Nobel Prize winner in chemistry Manfred Eigen.
Scheer became internationally known in particular for his Aris method and software for IT-supported business process management. It supports the design of modern organizational forms and simplifies the implementation of integrated business software.

The Hall of Fame of German Research is a campaign launched in 2009 by Manager Magazin and Merck, which appointed a high-ranking independent jury for the purpose.
Inclusion in the prestigious Hall of Fame of German Research honors scientists who have advanced Germany as a research location through their achievements.
